I.
1.) Good morning!

2.) Play a game: "Simon says"
3.) Questions: - What's your name?
- How old are you?
- What's your favourite number /colour?
- Show me a red/blue/ green, etc. pencil
- What's your favourite animal?
II.
1.) Flashcards: - What's this? > It' s a...
2.) Who wants to be the teacher?
(One of the students come in front of the class and ask: "What's this?" Students answer:
"It' s a..."

a.) Put the mixed flashcards into the correct order
b.) At the board: Place the word cards next to the pictures

4.) A team game
I devide the class into 2 or 3 teams. I give them picture cards. When I say "Go." the children should find the other member of their team with either the word or the picture that matches their card. The first team to match each picture to the correct word wins.
5.) Memory game

- Close your eyes
(I put the pictures of animals on the board)
- Open your eyes
(Children can watch the board for 1 minute, after that I close the board.)
Children have to write the names of the animals into their exercise book.
- Close your eyes again
(I take away one picture off the board.)
Children have to write the name of the missing animal.
6.) Activity book
- Open your activity book at page 7
(Children have to write the words and number the picture.)
- Open your activity book at page 5
(Children have to listen and write the numbers.)
7.) A rhyme: Look, it's rabbit
New words - flashcards: RABBIT, RAT, BIRD, FISH, TORTOISE
8.) Listen to a song: Can you...?
